I can’t say enough about the tasting course! Although to find the restaurant was a bit of a task because there is no signage outside and it’s inside the Citibank building, the hostess was warm, welcoming and understanding when we showed up a few minutes late because she says it happens all the time. Since they knew it was my son’s birthday, they gifted us a glass of Prosecco to start the celebration and accommodated my allergies. The waiter, the servers bringing out the food, the chef; All of it was worth the drive. I can’t wait to go again. Thank you!

If a rating greater than 5 stars was possible, it would be well-deserved for this place. Every sip and bite is priceless. I genuinely don’t want the meal to end. Top that with S-tier hospitality (s/o Luis and Suave at the bar) and you’ve got one of my Miami’s best food and hospitality spots for the moment, in my humble opinion. The dining room is small and intimate, but the flavors are larger than life. I’ll be dreaming of the Bing bread when I go to sleep tonight

An interesting fusion on Asian & Latin cuisines offering bold, intense and original flavors. My favorite was the Darkened Cod in a Sofrito sauce. The restaurant sits few people making the experience quite personal. Recommended!

Zitz Sum is exceptional. Every dish is thoughtful, beautifully plated, and packed with bold, precise flavor It’s the kind of place you leave already planning your next reservation. Outstanding from start to finish!

Definitely worth the hunt to find this place. What a nice experience. Really nice atmosphere great soft lighting, music a bit loud, service was excellent. All of our dishes were beautifully plated and were super yummy. Even though the wine list is incredibly small and not very well thought out or put together. I will go back for the food and the service and have a wine free night.

We came here for a date night. The service was great and the ambiance of the restaurant was really intimate and quiet. Overall, the food was delicious and we enjoyed it but it wasn’t stellar. For the price point, I expected more. Regardless, it was enjoyable just not sure if memorable. Except the dessert and the winter salad - they were incredible!

Flavors were well balanced and seasonal, and the team was knowledgeable about each course. The tasting menu was well paced, with every dish offering something distinct. As more parties arrived, the ambiance became a bit loud, and the seating could have been more comfortable. That said, the pricing felt fair for the quality and creativity. Overall, a very positive dining experience.

It is one of my favorite places for food in Coral Gables. It is a small almost hidden awesome place. Everything is so delicious. The Denver steak and the rice are perfect!

Our server Gabriel was awesome, and the hostess was super friendly and helpful. We did the tasting menu; very fun experience! The bell pepper cocktail is superrrrrr delicious, I’d go back just to have it. The portions were on the smaller side but still very filling and tasty ♡. Had a great experience for our anniversary, the entire service throughout the night was wonderful.

Came on a Tuesday night. Cozy restaurant inside an office building. Beef tartare is amazing, very unique taste; the bread appetizer is also unique, love the baking style, also very Asian. Seabass is okay.

Truly surprising flavor combinations. A culinary delight. Confusing to find (in the FIFA office building), but otherwise a sanctuary of sumptuous food and courteous service. Thank you, Maynor, for your kindness! Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but do check out the flatbread, which was unexpected and unforgettable.

If you dine in Miami, you know the difficulties there are when deciding on a place to eat. The many (many) options to choose from. Is it actually good, or is it just overhyped? Are the plates Instagram worthy, but not tastebud worthy? However, once you sift through these questions and the array of restaurants you can reserve a table at, you’ll start to find the gems. The places that do good food, good service, and good vibes. Zitz Sum is one of those places. Not surprising of course, given their bib gourmand status. But it’s another thing to actually try the plates that earned this recognition, which you totally should. To start things off, the ambience in the place was great and our waiter was fantastic. He was super knowledgeable about the menu, filled us in on what dishes are new/seasonal (check out my pic of the menu) and which are mainstays, and gave us his recommendations. Lucky for us, nearly everything we were thinking about ordering was similar to the plates he was ready to suggest. We got the bing bread, steak tartar, wahoo crudo, wonton in brodo, and charred cabbage. The bing bread was served hot and soft and the sweet Florida honey butter it came with was divine. The steak tartar was my favorite dish of the night and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. The beef was tender and seasoned well, and the ramen egg it sat in was perfectly chewy and salty. This is a steak tartar like you’ve never had before. The wahoo crudo was unique and I was hesitant at first about the thin banana slice its topped with (I’m not a fan of bananas), but I trusted the process and chef and all the flavors really came together and paired well with each other. The wonton in brodo was my second favorite dish of the night. The broth was flavorful and cozy, I was literally sipping it after all the wontons were eaten. And the wontons itself? Soft and packed with tasty chicken. Finally, the charred cabbage. Don’t sleep on this dish! It was more fulfilling and flavorful than you ever thought a cabbage could be, and the char on it gave it a nice punch of heat. At the end of our meal, we talked other Miami spots with our waiter, exchanged restaurant recommendations, and learned about Zitz Sums’ sister izakaya restaurant (called Dojo, which we will definitely be trying). Zitz Sum is subtle, yet glamorous. It makes you remember how special dining in Miami can (and should) be.

It’s without a doubt a super creative and delicious restaurant. Both the service and the food are spectacular, with a balanced and delicate fusion of ingredients. The place itself is calm and beautiful—truly a hidden gem in Miami with class and great taste.
You definitely need a reservation since it’s a small and popular spot.

From the moment I stepped into this restaurant, I was transported to a serene, beautifully designed space. The atmosphere was incredibly warm and inviting, with elegant decor that blends traditional elements with a modern twist, almost zen-like environment. The food was absolutely incredible—seasonal, fresh, and full of flavor, the drinks were outstanding as well.
This is the kind of place that gets everything right: ambiance, flavor, and experience. Highly recommended.

Dinner here was an absolute delight! The restaurant is moody and elegant, and the ambiance is casual not overly loud. The server we got was really attentive, very good service. And the food was just delightful! The koshihikari rice was one of my favorite dishes, it was everything I’ve never expected but always wanted in rice! The bing bread was so good too! The scallops were delicate and delicious, the fish was exquisite and the wontons in brodo super flavorful yet delicate. Loved the crunch of the Japanese French toast too. The cocktails were amazing! I don’t remember what mine was called but I had like 4! So good! Def give this place a try

While each dish was ambitious, none of them came together. The Scallops were taken away from by the other ingredients, the cabbage was hard, one of the chickens was ok, the other way over salted. The dumplings were below average while the sauce was decent, the truffle dumplings were good though way overpriced as was everything, like the $16 breads. The rock shrimp curry rice was not good. The steak tartar was ok. The cucumber dish was ok though tiny. Was excited coming in, left feeling we hit an off night. Every dish needed a serving utensil, had to ask for one to be brought almost every time a dish was dropped off. The restaurant was hard to find. Just under $100 pp. Probably won’t ever come back

There aren’t enough stars to rate Diana’s hospitality & service. She and Maynard and the rest of the staff are friendly and professional. Having wanted to come for the longest time, we came on the right night where we did not have reservations and did not have to wait.
We took Diana’s recommendations and were so pleased. That broth for cleansing the palette in between dishes was EVERYTHING, by the way.
We tried the Bing bread (piping hot and beautifully presented sweet butter), the cucumber salad’s highlight was the yogurt dollop, the steak tartare was great but we were obsessed with the broth that was offered prior to it, thank you very much, and the Hokkaido scallop crudo was simply divine. The potato dumplings were devoured instantly. Excellent execution. The Charcoal Grilled Green circle Deboned half chicken was so elegantly presented but that calabaza velouté underneath it was impressive. For us it’s all about the sauces. Give us more always!
We ended the meal with the sweet treat Meyer Lemon Tart, which was little in size but bursting with flavor. You gotta like tartness with your sweet, otherwise you won’t appreciate it.
It was our exciting first experience and we were so welcomed and treated like royalty.

Went during the week without a reservation and was seated outside.
We were persuaded to try the tasting menu and it didn’t disappoint.
The menu is constantly changing, so it’s definitely worth coming back to try their new offerings.
Every dish was executed to perfection. The taste of each was unique and the presentation was beautiful.
My only complaint was the dinner did take a while over 2 hours. But don’t let that impact your decision to come here
