Food was great we love this place and are regulars. However the sushi rolls were a bit loose. The service was great and our order took a bit longer so they brought complimentary gyozas. And the atmosphere was really good, they just moved to tjis location and it’s very aesthetic. Best sushi in Coral Gables.

The ambiance in the new location is great— earthy tones and chill music. The hostess, Carolina, was very friendly and even made us laugh. Our waitress Hanna was very attentive and took the time to explain new menu items. The chefs Jonathan and Carlos were great as well. They made our food in a timely fashion and all five rolls tasted fresh. Will definitely come again!

Such a great experience at Sushi Sake! Rosana was great and made my daughter’s birthday dinner extra special. The ramen was light and fresh with zucchini, carrots, and other shaved vegetables, the rainbow roll was delicious, and the pineapple fried rice was a hit. Perfect late dinner. They surprised my daughter with sparklers on her birthday dessert, which was such a thoughtful touch. We’ll definitely be back!

Sushi Sake has a very special place in my heart. I first found them last year during a painful Crohn's flare-up when almost nothing agreed with my stomach. Their clean vegetable soup with miso broth and a side of white rice (only $11!) was the only thing that made me feel healthy and content. Meanwhile, my husband loved exploring their great sushi selection, making it the perfect spot for both of us.
During our recent two-month stay in Coral Gables, we ended up eating here almost weekly. It is the ultimate safe haven for a vegetarian looking for clean, nourishing food.
The service is just as wonderful as the kitchen. We always felt so well taken care of, a special, heartfelt shout-out to Hana, she served us regularly, was always incredibly considerate, and took the absolute best care of us every time we walked through the door.
Five stars all the way! We are so grateful for this place and are wishing the team the absolute best at their new location. We will definitely be back!

Arrived afternoon to pass the time. The restaurant’s ambient truly matched with what I wanted to feel - peace. Tried most of the desserts, the Thai donuts truly caught me off guard with how good it was! Both Tampura Ice Cream as good too. Luisa attended me that afternoon, she’s very courteous and welcoming.

I’d definitely recommend coming in the afternoon. 10/10

The restaurant is at the corner of the Miracle Mile and Ponce de Leon.
It has a dining room and a small patio.
The wait for a take out of a shushi roll and tempura sweet potatoes was relatively long.
The product was OK but just okay and the tempura sweet potatoes did not travel well and the product was mediocre.
Prices are relatively high.

- [ ] Last night I visited Sushi Sake in Miami. This is a franchise Japenese restaurant that has many locations in Florida. My review is not so much for the food which actually is excellent. My review is for thievery. Let’s explore how a $12 bowl of Ramen becomes an almost $40 bowl of Ramen with the suggestion of a server. My 7 year-old daughter and my 12 year old son both wanted Ramen. The server asked would you like shrimp or chicken or steak in your Ramen? My son chose steak my daughter chose shrimp. Did I know that the $12 bowl of Ramen would become a $30 per bowl? An additional $18/$16 for a little protein. Robbery. Thievery. Cheating? Well yes when the price isn’t listed on a menu, I guess all is fair in restaurant price gouging. So with tax and tip ( 20%) 2 bowls of ok Ramen cost this:

- [ ] =$75
- [ ] Something just feels wrong.

Best all-day $2 Sapporo happy hour in Coral Gables! 🍺 The service was excellent—thank you, Kristian, for always serving the coldest Sapporo in town. Definitely my go-to spot for a great drink and friendly vibes.

Amazing meal!! I forgot the name of the sushi roll I had, but the hibachi scallops were tasty. Everything was delicious. My food came out super fast, I came on a slower night, however. Zero complaints! Just wanted to give this restaurant their flowers because it’s a nice spot in a good location.

Yesterday, September 7, 2025, I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. As soon as I opened the door, I was told they were closing in five minutes, even though there were still almost 30 minutes left before closing time. The young lady who attended me was not helpful at all — she looked rushed, tired, and clearly unwilling to serve customers properly.

Even if closing time was approaching, that is not an excuse for such poor service. She refused to sell me anything to drink, saying it would “dirty the containers again,” which makes no sense for a business that serves food and beverages. In the end, because of her bad attitude and lack of professionalism, I had to cancel my entire order.

The sushi here is amazing. This Sushi Sake on Miracle Mile is the best in the area. They have amazing food dishes and drinks on their happy hour menu. The waiter Brad is extremely nice and will go above and beyond in his service. Definitely have to come here!!

went during lunch time and got the chicken katsu and was really good. My friend got a roll and asked for cream cheese and wasn’t really happy because this is the amount of cream cheese she had in her roll. everyone else enjoyed their roll as well. If you go during lunch expect to spend at least 1.5 hour for the whole time spent eating and everything.

I had been to this restaurant several times before, but this last visit was the complete opposite of my previous experiences. From the moment we arrived, there was an unpleasant smell inside the restaurant — strong enough that we chose to sit outside despite the heat. While our server was attentive and friendly, the food was, unfortunately, disappointing. Overall, not recommended.

The sushi was fresh and delicious. The fried rice dish was a hit. The restaurant provided a gluten free “soy sauce.” The service was very slow and the restaurant was practically empty. We did arrive when it seemed all of the staff was trickling in for dinner service as we had a late lunch. The music was very annoying, electronic beats that were repeated over and over again that were too loud for an empty restaurant. I wish we had sat outside it would have been more relaxing. The restaurant also had floor seating with tables across from the sushi bar for a more authentic feel if you like to get down low.

We had a great dining experience here. The area is walkable, featuring nearby parking garages for easy access and street parking. We visited barnes and nobles before coming here to eat dinner. The location has indoor and outdoor seating with quality you'd expect from other sushi sake locations.

Such a great experience while visiting Miami from out of town.

Great atmosphere & beautifully presented food.

Must get the steak tacos and the fried cheesecake for dessert!

Pro tip ** mention you have a special occasion for the dragon experience **

Service was good and quick. Food quality was pretty average. The spicy tuna was probably the worst I’ve ever had (and they removed it from the bill) but the shumai, the gyozas and the dragon roll were good. The margarita was pretty good too. They were playing techno at a high volume the entire time so the atmosphere was not too pleasant. It’s my second time here and it’ll probably be my last. It’s probably best to do take-out.
