Incredible experience at Mesamar Seafood Table. The ceviche was unbelievably fresh and flavorful, the paella was perfectly cooked and packed with seafood, but the real standout was the scallops in the pear truffle cream sauce. They were so good we had to order a second round. Truly one of those dishes you keep thinking about afterward. Beautiful atmosphere, excellent service, and every plate felt thoughtfully prepared. Can’t wait to come back.

We were there as we were recommended to go to have great seafood and it was true. The flavors are simple yet deep and the service and atmosphere invites you to enjoy a celebration, a special day or a lunch to remember.

Well the shrimp bites were my favorite. I would have been happywith just those. The beef carpaccio was partially frozen. The fish was a tad overcooked. Waitress had trouble understanding us. We wanted them to hold the fish carcass but that wasnt a big deal. The atmosphere was lovely.

Great spot for our New Years Eve dinner! Staff were friendly and food was excellent. We ordered the salmon, the lobster ravioli, and the tostones.

Great food - we had the hog fish and the rock shrimp and it was nothing short of amazing!! My boss took me there for my birthday and I loved it. You will not be disappointed. 5 stars

Food overall was decent. Not amazing overall. Apps was good crab rice sushi was good. Wife liked the carpaccio, tuna ahi was good. The calamari had no dipping sauce which was a bit odd. Lobster ravioli was great. Fish to me was extremely overpriced and the presentation was blahh. I mean for almost $60 i hope to be amazed. No better than a $20 fish at la carretta. My son hated his Alfredo pasta, zero flavor. My passion fruit drink was sour and apparently even the lychee martini. Deserts were good. Churros not the best by far, would stick to anywhere else for that unless you really want churros. Fried rice was decent. I think between the 6 of us we spent a good chunk of change like $700. Atmospheres was ok seems a little dated of a spot. If the main dishes are not on point nothing else matters to me. No one goes to a expensive place for apps and desert only. If you going to charge a premium penny presentation needs to be better than a mom and pops on the street. I know some people swear by this place apparently but it was ok.

I had the amazing opportunity to dine at MESAMAR and I can honestly say it exceeded every expectation. The food is absolutely incredible – flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every bite feels like it was made with love and true culinary passion.

But what really makes this place stand out is the owner. She is a true gem – such a beautiful soul, warm, kind, and genuinely attentive to every guest. You can feel her heart in every corner of the restaurant.
There’s also a private event space that’s elegant, intimate, and perfect for hosting any kind of celebration from birthdays to corporate dinners. The ambiance is stunning and the service is five-star all the way.
I 100% recommend MESAMAR. It’s not just a restaurant, it’s an experience. Truly unforgettable.

Great place to grab food. EASILY one of the best meals I had in Coral Gables. Definitely best dined with a group. Ate by myself this time and still had a plenty good time.

If you love hog fish, this is the place to come to. The tostones were the bomb! The portions are very generous. MesaMar is a gem. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was very relaxing.

Honest opinion, it was good not excellent but good. I tried the branzino which was ok, a little bland for my taste and I have that particular fish everywhere I go where it's offered. I thought pricing was very good for the area and the service was top notch but I wasn't blown away by the cuisine.

MesaMar Seafood Table in Coral Gables offers an exceptional dining experience for seafood lovers. Our evening began with two beautifully crafted cocktails: the Tanqueray and the Brisa Del Mar. The Tanqueray was a crisp, classic gin cocktail, with the perfect balance of botanical notes and a refreshing twist, while the Brisa Del Mar was a tropical delight, light and fruity with just the right amount of sweetness, setting the tone for a relaxing evening.
For appetizers, we indulged in the Lobster Tacos, which were an absolute standout. The lobster was tender and flavorful, and the presentation was elegant. The combination of fresh ingredients—alongside the perfect blend of seasonings—gave each bite a burst of flavor, making it the ideal start to our meal.
Moving on to the main courses, we tried the Enchilado de Camarones and the Camarones al Ajillo. The Enchilado de Camarones was a rich and flavorful dish, featuring shrimp cooked in a robust tomato-based sauce, with just the right hint of spice to elevate the experience. The shrimp were succulent, and the sauce was perfect for dipping with the accompanying rice. The Camarones al Ajillo—garlic shrimp—was equally satisfying. The shrimp were cooked to perfection, with the garlic sauce rich, buttery, and infused with fresh herbs, giving it a classic yet memorable flavor.
The atmosphere at MesaMar was warm and inviting, with an upscale yet relaxed vibe that made us feel comfortable throughout the evening. The service was attentive, and the staff was knowledgeable about the menu, providing great recommendations and ensuring that our dining experience was top-notch from start to finish.

We had a lovely dinner here with colleagues after an event. All the appetizers were delicious. For my entree, I had the fresh hogfish snapper, half grilled and half fried. My husband had the Chilean sea bass, which melted in your mouth. For dessert, we shared the almond praline, flan, and chocolate mousse. The atmosphere was perfect, and our server was excellent.

A jewel in Coral Gables. Great Seafood restaurant. We started by ordering drinks while we were waiting for our fried calamari which was outstanding. Then we order the fried whole hogfish. It was amazing and came with two sides. To finish we ordered the churros for dessert and they were incredibly rich and crunchy. Our server Roy did a great job attending our table.

The hogfish served two ways was very fresh! Half was fried while the other half was grilled. It was delicious but personally I think the grilled side may taste better if it was streamed. Octopus portion was tiny. It was mainly potatos and garnish. A bit disappointing in terms of price for value. Grilled calamari on the other hand was done perfectly. Soft, tender, sweet, and good portion size. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice on a Friday night with live music. Sadly, the service was disappointing. We had to pour our own wine after initial pour and our glasses of water was often empty. That should never happen in such an establishment of this caliber. Coffee arrived after dessert was finished. Overall, it was good with some room for improvement.

We went to eat here on a Saturday night, the place was packed (in a good way) The octopus was fresh and cooked perfectly. We also had the zucchini chips, prawns and lemon potato’s which were excellent.

Small yet Charming Coral Gables restaurant with a classy appeal. Friday night every table was booked so I'm glad I reserve early. Our server Stephanie went out of her way to make sure my party was completely satisfied. That type of service is a rarity in Miami. They have an easy yet satisfactory menu. Prices aren't terrible yet the sides could've been a little larger. Side of rice came in half serving. Drink selection was decent. Seafood was excellent with excellent presentation.

My family and I visited MesaMar for the first time tonight and everything was great. The service was amazing, the food delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this restaurant!
