Ramen was amazing! The broth is one of the best I have ever had, hot and flavorful! Staff were friendly and attentive! Will return to this location when I’m back in Miami! Nice and quiet atmosphere, we did eat earlier in the day so it wasn’t busy at all!

I came here to eat ramen as an article by the door indicated this was one of the best ramen in the city. I was seated as soon as I walked in. I ordered the shrimp gyozas and spicy miso ramen. The food was done fairly quickly. The shrimp gyozas were delicious. The spicy miso ramen was also very tasty. I’m not sure if it was the best in the city but definitely worth coming in for. The service was great and the ambiance was good. I would definitely return to try other items on the menu when I’m in the area.

I love Ichimi, I consider it a Gables Stable and it has been one of my favorite Asian restaurants in Miami for over 7+ years. But when I went this weekend, and order the classic Ichimi Ramen, I found that signature Ramen flavor that I had grown the love wasn't there. There was a thick layer of oil on top, to the point where I had to scoop it out. They also are charging the same price for less duck wings. They used to serve 6 wings and now its only 4. The Pork belly was still good, but I was sad to see the quality drop in the soup. Despite my opinion the restaurant was full and had a wait list. I hope that the chefs can focus on making quality soup and the owners do what they can to scal appropriately. The 3 servers on the floor were doing everything they could to keep a good flow in the restaurant and I commend them for it.

The food here was really good the ramen was excellent. However, I’m giving three stars because of the atmosphere. It was quite dirty inside. We were sitting at a window table and the windows were dirty, and the decorative bottles near us were covered in dust. The women’s restroom also wasn’t clean.
I do want to mention one nice touch the bottled water on the tables, which I really appreciated.
So overall: the food is delicious and yes, I would recommend it. But my sincere suggestion to the owner is to pay more attention to cleanliness even the light fixtures were dusty.

I normally don’t like to leave a low star review when the staff were nice and friendly. But the ramen was so bad! It’s very creamy and feel like New England chowder not ramen! And way too much scallions. Some reviews said it’s authentic. Well I was visiting Japan for a few weeks and had ramen almost every day and none of them would be like this! It made us sick afterwards because the cooking oil they used was very cheap.
Overall. Sad because it’s a cute place and staff are nice, but this is the worse ramen and Japanese food I have ever had.

I was expecting to have a good bowl of ramen; however, what was served to me was disappointing. The noodles were mushy, and the soup was lukewarm. I don’t think I’ve ever had ramen this bad in my life. I came here after reading the positive reviews, but I honestly don’t understand why it’s rated so highly. To be fair, the service and atmosphere were perfectly fine, but the food did not meet the expectations one would have for a restaurant. It was nowhere near the quality of ramen you can get in Japan or even at other places that serve decent ramen.

The place is very nice and spacious, with an atmosphere you enjoy as soon as you walk in. The service is not the best, but even though it is not excellent, it is good.
The pork belly baos are honestly the best I have ever had. When they arrive at the table they look simple and you might think they do not have much filling, but when you take a bite you find an incredible mix of flavors.
The Ichimi Ramen is delicious. We always order it with wonton and extra meat, and it is truly the best ramen we have ever eaten.

Ichimi is easily one of the best ramen spots in Coral Gables! The food here is incredible—authentic Japanese flavors that taste fresh and perfectly balanced. I believe the owner or main chef is Japanese, which explains the quality and authenticity in every dish.
The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, making it a great place to enjoy comfort food. They even serve Japanese beers, which pair perfectly with the ramen.
We ordered the Ichimi Ramen with pork and their housemade noodles, and it was absolutely divine. The broth wasn’t overpowering or too salty—just the perfect, delicate flavor that makes you want to savor every bite. The pork belly bao is a must-try—soft, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. People clearly come back for this dish! We also had the chicken katsu with curry on the side, which was cooked beautifully and full of flavor.
The service was smooth and friendly, and the overall experience was excellent. I will definitely be back—especially for the ramen and pork belly bao. Highly recommend this gem in Coral Gables! Super affordable too!!!

Great ramen, great beer. The spicy ramen I ordered was hot and generously flavored with vegetables and chili oil. A mound of green onions added great depth of flavor that is often missing in ramen. Delicious broth and pork belly. The Japanese IPA I had was fantastic. They have many options to try, and I’m excited to go back and try something else on their menu.

It had been a while since I last visited Ichimi, but this trip reminded me exactly why I fell in love with it in the first place. We were greeted, seated, and served in no time, which set the tone for a great meal.
I ordered the Ichimi ramen, which was everything I wanted and more. The broth was rich and layered with flavor, warming and comforting in the best way. The noodles had just the right amount of chew, soaking up every bit of the broth. The egg deserves its own spotlight — perfectly cooked with a yolk that was silky and rich yet still holding its shape. Every spoonful felt balanced and thoughtful.

The filling was juicy and flavorful, and the drizzle of chili oil on top elevated it with a subtle heat that lingered just enough without overpowering. I love ramen and was really looking forward to trying this place. The design is nice, and the atmosphere is pleasant. However, I can’t say this was the best ramen I’ve ever had. It was decent, but I’ve had much better elsewhere.

Can.I say delicious hot and free and by the way came via Uber. When I tell you this food was good I mean good. The bao buns 😩 my chooses were the rib bao and pork belly you won’t go room. My rice I went with the shrimp ! Hello can we say real good !

Very solid ramen restaurant. They have set ramen, build-your-own ramen, rice bowls, and a LARGE variety of appetizers.
Located on a side street off the Miracle Mile area of Coral Gables in Miami. The ramen was good and doesn’t come overstuffed with too much extras, which is how I like it. The broth is the main draw for ramen and theirs was good. I prefer the home made thin noodle over the egg noodle when it comes to ramen. Egg noddles are better for Chinese style noodle soup.
Moreover, I thought the gyoza and spicy fried chicken (like karage) were the real winning dishes. Both were really good.
I’ve been here a couple times now. Both were memorable so that’s a good sign.

It always sucks walking into a restaurant where the workers are more lost the customers walking in.
Everyone was doing everything yet absolutely nothing at the same time.
My server was not focused at all when taking more order. Let alone, it took some time getting a server to take my order in the first place and when I say this place is tiny, I mean it. One skilled server can handle the entire restaurant with a host and maybe a couple of food runners.
The ramen I ordered was very disappointing. I know there’s a first for everything but I never thought I’d ever have to ask for salt because of ramen being BLAND. It sounds almost diabolical. Never once has that ever happened to me.
Outside of the servers being friendly and nice, it’s not worth the revisit. There are so many much better ramen spots to go to than this spot. For sure.

In a place known for its Latin American cuisine we somehow found a gem in Ichimi, a ramen spot located in the posh Coral Gables neighborhood. The atmosphere feels very intimate and the service is quick and good. We ordered the scallion pancakes and pork gyoza as openers. They arrived quickly and warmly but their flavor was a bit lacking. The scallion pancakes in particular came with hoisin on it which wasn’t bad but it did take away from the natural scallion flavor a bit. They were also served with a side of cream cheese which I found a bit odd. As for the gyoza it was soft and lacked a bit of flavor but wasn’t necessarily bad, just a bit underwhelming.
Moving onto the main dishes, our party ordered a number of dishes but we personally had the soul and black dragon ramens. The soul ramen was a light and buttery tonkotsu ramen with tender noodles that brought the whole dish together; it was very good. The black dragon ramen was also very good, albeit very very garlic. It has a deep flavor that feels bold so if that’s not your thing then choose something else. An important thing to note is that these bowls were not only on the cheaper side but they were also very generous with their toppings which really is something we highly value. It is very rare to find a place that will give you a full egg and they did here. Not to mention the ramen came out very fast and everyone liked their ramen, and that’s big praise from a family who eats a LOT of ramen. Ichimi was extremely impressive. From its quaint, unassuming atmosphere to its flavorful broth and generous toppings. We highly recommend stopping by here if you’re in the Coral Gables area or Miami for that matter. Or if you are as equally obsessed with noodles as we are.

I really lived this place since a friend recommended it. Been there three times already, I’m a big fan of ramen and I can say theirs are one of the best that I had in Miami. Ichimi and spicy miso ramen my go to’s and of course their bao buns are to die for. If you’re near Coral gables and wanna do a quick stop for food this is one of those places. Recommended 100%

My husband got the fried chicken and curry rice bowl and I got the Ichimi ramen with wontons - both were absolutely delicious! The broth was so creamy and savory, and the noodles made-in-house were perfect. The chicken was super crispy but not too fatty and oily, which was awesome.
The scallion pancake was refreshing and crispy, and the brisket bao was flavorful but a bit too tough for brisket meat, which should usually be softer.
The path to the bathroom is a little horror-movie-esque, I won’t lie, but it looked like it was connected to another business or two? Regardless, pretty clean bathroom and the food was top notch and they give you plenty of food for a decent price.
