The sister-brother team are friendly and are the quintessential American Dream. Venezuelan immigrants, he is the front of house, while she is the chef. The food is delicious and presented so it is very appealing to the eye. It was such a wonderful experience.

Last night we had dinner here with my cycling/training group and it was truly an amazing experience from beginning to end. The restaurant is owned by someone from our fitness community, and it was such a beautiful night celebrating together.
The food was absolutely delicious. We had a multi-course dinner and every single dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. You can really tell how much care and passion goes into the kitchen. The chef did an incredible job.
The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and the service was excellent. Everything flowed perfectly and the staff made us feel very comfortable and taken care of.
Honestly, for the quality of the food and the whole experience, it was beyond worth it. A fantastic place for dinner with friends, celebrations, or a special night out.
Highly recommend and I will definitely be coming back.

Fugato is truly a gem! Not only is the food absolutely exquisite—every dish is beautifully presented and full of incredible flavor—but the service is just as exceptional. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warmth and professionalism that makes you feel special and well taken care of. The staff is attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about creating a great dining experience.
I can confidently say I would recommend Fugato to anyone looking for an outstanding meal and top-tier service. I would come back 1,000 times without hesitation!

Fugato is Diamond amongst Diamonds. Coral Gables provides a pic of great restaurants, but my first pic is always Fugato. The staff welcome you as if you were a family, and the place is cozy, romantic, and elegant. I have been here many times and always leave looking forward to the next time. The food is always amazing. So much so that I never even look at the menu. On the country, I always look forward to hearing them, share So eloquently their specials for the day. The meals are always plated beautifully, but that is an understatement compared to the flavor of entrées and desserts They offer.

Ismael was so great, he was attentive and friendly from the beginning. He was very passionate and gave great recommendations, we trusted him fully to help us pick out meals and let him decide on dessert! The food was great and it was a beautiful atmosphere for Valentine’s Day.

We were a party of 3 and loved Fugato Restaurant. The food was excellent: appetizers were so amazing: we had thin tostones, shrimp and crab croquettes and fish croquettes, plus tostones with meat on top. For entree we had a huge Lobster Thermidor, Pork Osso Buco, and the best risotto I have ever tasted. Servings were plenty for sharing.We had a great Argentinian malbec and shared a delicious banana cake for dessert. Staff was professional, very nice and attentive. The place was quiet and great to enjoy a peaceful meal with friends. I highly recommend Fugato Restaurant in Alcazar, Coral Gables.

Food here was amazing we have smoke Salmon for appetizer was really good then we have a short rib and corvina with risotto I have to said is one on the best rissotto in town I would recommend the chorizo risotto is out of the world, We came back to

We went for dinner and were seated promptly. Our server was really friendly and helpful. We ordered our drinks and our bottle of wine. It was very good. For our appetizers, we shared the chévere croquttes and the tostones costolette- both were tasty. For my entree, I had the fish of the day and rissotto- it was really good. The rest of the entrees looked good too. For dessert, we shared chocolate fondant and it was delicious. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant.

We celebrated our anniversary at Fugato and it was beyond outstanding! ✨ The atmosphere is warm and family-oriented, the food was absolutely delicious, and the whole experience felt so special. Honestly, we never expected it to be this good! We left feeling happy, connected, and already excited to come back. Definitely bringing friends next time so they can enjoy and disconnect just like we did.

The most expensive risotto I have ever eaten. The food was delicious but overpriced. I have eaten good risotto in many places, even with an ocean view (my favorite), and I have never paid so much in a small restaurant without a beautiful view. The risotto had no price on the menu, and the coffees cost $3 and $5, and they charged us more. It was my birthday, so I wasn't going to argue about the price, I was trying to have a good night. The service was good, but I don't recommend this place.

We live very close by so we decided to try it after a friend recommended this restaurant. Its small and cozy place to go with family and friends or on date night. I went with my husband and left very happy to have found this gem 2 blocks from our house. The service was excellent and the food was very good. The ambiance was very nice, noce music not very loud. Everything from presentation to flavor was on point. We will definitely be back with our family.

Fugato has to be one of the best fine dining restaurants were it doesn’t dent your wallet. It can go head to head with any top restaurant in South Florida for there quality of food, taste and price.
Its a rare find to see in Miami.!!!
The best part is we live in Coral Gables and we can literally walk to Fugato. 😀
So we walk in to this newly renovated restaurant with around 20-25 tables give or take and your greated by your host, we had made reservations so we were seated immediately.
The atmosphere and vibe is like if it was and extension of your dining room and you had a private party in your home.
Within minutes your served water and the VIP treatment begins….
This dinning experience we did with our good friends, and one of them is Italian so expectations were high, so the food had to be on point with even Michelin ⭐️ rating because our friends were recommended by there friends as well.
We had the pleasure to be waited on by either the owner, manager or a very extremely knowledgeable waiter which was a master at his craft, i will definitely edit this review with his name.
Our friends took a bottle of their own wine and this restaurant offers a very well priced service to serve your own wine if you bring it.
We started off with the recommendations of 4 cheese croquettes and salmon tartare on tostones, both were delicious but the croquettes get a 6 stars.
As we drank our wine and enjoyed the dining with our friends the ambiance was perfect not to loud and not to low were you would be bothering our guest.
Pretty shocking you will find lots of choices for your main course that all will taste amazing, i know cause we tasted our friends food as well.
I ordered the risotto with calamari and lobster, and my wife a pasta that was to die for. Our friends ordered ossobuco with risotto and all had the 5 star presentation and taste of great chef and we trained staff.
We finished our bottle and order a nice chardonnay from a nice selection of wines they offer.
Leave some space for the dessert because there all done with home made recipes so you will love them.
Congratulations to the chef, manager, owner and staff for a great fine dining restaurant with a VIP treatment.
