The flavors here were unmatched! The menu is unique and different, and we truly loved everything we tried. I had the loaded tots with a truffle cream that was soooo good! My husband ordered the guava and cheese French toast, the flavor was great, though it was a bit soggy for my taste. For entrées, I had the shrimp salad, which came with plenty of shrimp, and my husband had the dipped burger, which was very tasty. We finished with the dirt cup for dessert, and it was amazing. Definitely a spot worth visiting!

Had a wonderful brunch at Eating House celebrating 2 birthdays!!! Dana was an amazing server, so friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcomed from start to finish. She knew the menu well, gave great recommendations, and made the whole experience even better. Our favorite dessert was the Dirt Cup, so good! Thanks to Dana for making our visit special

Marisol was an amazing server tonight. The eating house has delicious food and drinks. Marisol had no issue telling me what Veggitarian options there were and often checked in to make sure we were ok.

Great atmosphere and ambiance but a little bit pricey. The Wagyu smashed burger was very greasy and somehow salty. The branzino meuniere was very tasty and fresh. Loved the baked potato rolls and the kids loved the pasta.

Last night we were looking for a change of scene in the gables and found it at Eating House. I was a fan of the restaurant from its original location but haven’t been back much since it re-opened. We were greeted outside while just looking at the menu which made us come in for a drink, we were welcomed in and then Steven, our waiter/bartender made it one of the most pleasant spontaneous dinners we’ve had in a bit. We were just coming in for a drink before dinner but changed our plans to have dinner at eating house due to the quality of food, beverages, service and attentiveness of the staff. We’re putting eating house into our normal rotation. Steven went above and beyond, helping us with selections from our first drink to dessert always with a good sense of humor and smile! For food recommendations- everything we tried was excellent and so fresh from the tuna crudo to the short rib and of course their famous dirt cup.
P.s try the old fashioned it’s incredible.

I was really surprised by this restaurant that our group just happened upon while walking around in Coral Gables. The atmosphere is very nice, the service was fantastic, the food was exceptionally good and the price was fair. Above all, we were also impressed with what we called a “clean” bill. That translates to a check that brings exactly what you ordered, no weird add-ons like a service charge or an outrageous tip already added on, or like it happened to me at another Miami restaurant, a “donation” to some obscure cause that was simply added on to our bill without even asking us first… Miami has become a place where you REALLY need to read that check, unfortunately. But, not at this restaurant: We got a clean bill! Most importantly, the food was very good, the portions were quite nice, and overall I was positively impressed. Will be back!

My recent dinner at Eating House in Coral Gables was an absolute pleasure, thanks to their "Taste of the Gables" fixed menu. From start to finish, the experience was truly top-notch.
The fixed menu itself was a culinary highlight – every dish was exceptionally well-prepared and bursting with flavor. Beyond the fantastic food, the service was excellent (Thanks Christopher M), attentive without being intrusive, making for a truly comfortable dining experience. The drinks were expertly crafted and a perfect complement to our meal, and the desserts were nothing short of spectacular, providing a sweet and memorable conclusion to the evening.
Adding to the enjoyment was the restaurant's perfect location and inviting ambiance, which created a wonderful setting for a special dinner.
Eating House is definitely a must-visit for anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience in Coral Gables. Highly recommended!

The food is spectacular, the chef is unique. The Brussels sprouts ceaser is a classic and the seabass is full of delicious flavors! The bartender Jordan is a doll and her passion for food with her energetic attitude is so nice to be around and a part of why we visit!

A superb experience service was great even we were invited to look at the kitchen quickly. We truly enjoy the freshness of the meals, and we did an experience where you can share so many dishes among a big group. The owner happened to be there such a cool gentleman.

Swing by Eating House for some awesome food and definitely stay for the cup of dirt! Brunch was fantastic, and the service was just as good. If you're in the mood for a great time, this restaurant is the spot!

If you ever find yourself in the Coral Gables area, make sure to stop by Eating House for a bite. The fish dishes are top-notch, and the Captain Crunch is a must-try! I had such a great time there—the drinks were incredible. Be sure to tell them I sent you, haha!

absolutely amazing experience!! our server was Dom and he was perfectly attentive and polite. we sat outside (which was hot) and he made sure to offer us fans to ensure we were comfortable. he made great recommendations off the menu, and overall made sure we had a great experience. the food itself was amazing and i was impressed with the portion sizes. i definitely recommend eating here and will be back!

Friendly staff, pretty place. Food: The burrata was good the guava sauce super yum but the olive oil was meh and crostini were chewy so not a fan. The shrimp toast was very tasty and the toast was perfect. The chicken waffles was good the chicken was crispy, the vanilla butter is good, and the waffle was perfect. Only note is I would put that ranch sauce under the waffle I would prefer it on the side. Up side is even though they don’t have a natural lemonade they did make them for us from scratch so that was highly appreciated!

I'll start by saying that the service was great, as well as the food. The captain brunch pancakes are a must in this place. The atmosphere is so nice, that makes you start longer.

Visited for brunch on a Saturday- food was yummy and came out promptly. Selected inside seating which wasn't too loud even though small space. The bar area looked nice and the bathrooms were clean. Ordered the smoked salmon plate and local burrata starter.
Only 2 things I was turned off about. The parking seems hit or miss (and it was a "quiet" afternoon not busy) so parking in a garage down the street was my option. Second, I would recommend the food runners to ask before presenting/adding any sauce to a plate prior to doing so. The example being: the local burrata starter. I was nervous of the guava sauce and requested it to be on the side. Well, it does come on the side and the food runner "presents" it by pouring over the burrata. It wasn't a bad taste, however I would have poured less. Other than that- I would definitely visit again and try more on the menu! Outside seating seemed nice too!

My first visit to Eating House was great. The food was very amazing, the service was great and the atmosphere was nice. My wife and I went for brunch and everything was fantastic. We had a Spritz & a Post-It Note to drink. They were both refreshing and delicious. Next we had the Loaded Tater Tots. I can say without question that they are the BEST tater tots I've ever had. The black truffle cream and bacon bits on top add amazing flavor to crispy, yet soft tots | 10/10. I ordered the Cap'N Crunch Pancakes and they were amazing. What can I say, Cap'N Crunch on top of fluffy pancakes covered in condensed milk "syrup"....amazing! 10/10. My wife ordered the Chicken & Waffles. I had a bite and it was really good, but since I didn't eat much I'll refrain from rating that dish. We also ordered a the Thick-cut Bacon app as a side with our entrees and it tasted very good | 9/10. Our server, Danny, was also great. He was very helpful and you could tell he likes the food based on the way he talked about it. Overall a fantastic meal and we will definitely be back to try their burgers.
